Enabling Push Notifications in chatlyn

Requirements

Push notifications need to be activated in your browser as well as on your PC. Please note that the notification settings are individual for each user in chatlyn, which means everyone will have to set them up in their own profile.

Steps

Navigate to your profile settings by clicking on your avatar in the bottom left corner and then on Profile settings. 

Click the notifications tab in the navigation on top.

Now you can select in which scenarios you would like to receive push notifications. 

Send push notifications when a new conversation is created: When a customer starts a new conversation, you will receive a push notification

Send push notifications when a conversation is assigned to me: When a colleague or the auto-assign option assigns a conversation to your name, you will get a push notification.

Send push notifications when you are mentioned in a conversation: When a colleague mentions you in a private note, you will receive a push notification.

Send push notifications when a new message is created in an assigned conversation: When there is a new message in a conversation that is assigned to you, you will get a push notification. 

Send push notifications when a new message is created in a participating conversation: When there is a new message in a conversation that is not necessarily assigned to you, but you participated in this conversation, you will get a push notification. 

Enable the switch of Browser Push Notifications.

Once you made your selections your push notifications will be active immediately.
